Every two years, vexillologist around the world unite for a week of discussion of flags in both formal and informal settings. This meetings are the International Congress of Vexillology (ICV). The 2003 meeting was held in Stockholm, Sweden. The next meeting in 2005 is scheduled for Buenos Aires.
